N. Jackson Cotney, Jr. was born in Macon, Georgia in 1956, and attended Mercer University, graduating in 1978. He graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1981 with a Juris Doctor degree. After 8 years of public service as a prosecutor, including service as the Chief Assistant District Attorney in the Ogeechee Judicial Circuit and as the Chief Assistant Solicitor of DeKalb County, he joined Wiles & Wiles, LLP as a partner in 1989. Jack is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the American Bar Association and the International Council of Shopping Centers. His primary practice areas include business litigation and landlord tenant matters. Jack also teaches real estate courses for credit through the Wiles & Wiles, LLP Real Estate School.
